sometimes it's on friday, sometimes it's on wednesdays, sometimes it's not on at all.

so as a result i haven't watched more than a couple of espisodes this season.

When Clinton was President one of the members of a jury in Arkansas involved in one of the myriad of murky Whitewater related scandals showed up for duty in a Star Trek uniform every day.

I have been a Trek fan since September 1966 when the original aired.

Has any else been the the Star Trek Experience at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas?

I was with was transported to the Next Generation Enterprise, stood on the bridge, road a shuttle craft being shot at by enemy ships, returned to the Hilton where I had a Romulan ale at Quarks.

You missed Brent Spiner as an ancestor of Dr Noonian Singh escape from prison and bring to term embryos from the Eugenics Wars.

You missed Archer on the lamb on Vulcan with a hot nubile T'Pau and having a mind meld with a dying Vulcan so he could carry Surak's Katra bringing down the paranoid Vulcan leadership and bringing to power the Vulcans with values that will give us Mr. Spock.

The Klingons kidnapped Dr Plox with the knowledge and help of rogue elements of Starfleet to end a plague caused by their trying to copy Dr Singh's genetic enhancements in Klingons. The antidote saved the infected Klingons lives but caused the bumps in their heads to disolve. Thus giving birth to the Klingons seen in the original series without the huge brow ridges.

The rumor is that Deanna Troi and Will Riker will appear in the finale.

well, i kinda thought being an expat that i could live under the radar but no.. today it is official - me living in the us of a.. not a ceremony, no flag waving... jury duty!.

Great news fellow countryman.

I enjoyed serving on a jury and thought of it as a patriotic duty. In the USA it is the jury not the Judge who decides the case. Do not let your jury be a rubber stamp. Judge the facts of the case AND the merit of the law. If need be exercize the right of jury nullification. The jury not the judge decides.

it is close to midnight and i have a million things to do, a thousand worries and a dozen hopes and a lot has happened since the last installment of lila but there is time for that.

Art Bell guests host the radio show once in a while. I had heard about the Maya 2012 date in the late 90's and heard Bell talk about it around the same time. The last time I heard it mentioned on the radio show was a year or two ago.

I disagree with Bell on most of his opinions about aliens and spirituality but we have one thing in common. Art Bell and myself are both members of the Libertarian Party.

you check a desk calander and realise that it's your baptism date.

your mom is calling asking you to wake up and get ready for the assembly...... .

If only!

After High School I would have joined the Air Force, then College, get a degree in Politcal Science and after spending about 10 years in the House of Representatives I would be in the Senate by now planning my bid for the White House.

That was the plan for my life that I junked when I joined the Witnesses in 1973 at the age of 15.

If only!
